Generalist Vice President

We are currently seeking a Vice President to work directly with our leadership team in Portland, ME. 

The Generalist position will involve working through a constantly varied mix of challenges related to sales, operations, HR, finance, M&A, and technology, among others.  Successful candidates will be able to balance a commitment to long-term value creation with the daily drive needed to make decisions despite incomplete information.  Chenmark employees maintain a passion for small business, a significant competitive drive, a willingness to grind, and a deep desire to have a tangible impact on employees, customers, and the community at large.

This is a management track position intended for candidates with an MBA degree or equivalent work experience.  Successful Generalist Vice Presidents can expect to spend 12-24 months working with Chenmark operating companies in a consultative role before moving on to a senior operating role at one of our businesses.  The best performers will earn the chance to become the CEO of a Chenmark operating company as we steadily add additional businesses to our platform over the long term.
